I went to another optometrist within my insurance’s network for my annual exam and returned to Spec Appeal with the prescription for placement in my deceased mother’s frames. When my glasses returned from the lab, the prescription from the other optometrist was incorrect. It was too strong and I was seeing double. Dr Friehe observed that I was visibly upset and immediately identified the error the other optometrist made with the prescription. I was immediately scheduled to see Dr Friehe the next day for a comprehensive exam which confirmed the extent of the other optometrist’s prescription. Spec Appeal replaced the incorrect prescription in my deceased mother’s glasses with the correct prescription from Dr Friehe free of charge. When I picked them up today, I realized how much I look like my deceased mother and had to contain my tears until I returned home. My husband and I thank Spec Appeal team members and Dr Friehe for ensuring that we maintain excellent healthy eyes and appropriate eye wear. We don’t mind paying out of our pocket for the best!
