We want to share with you some GAA updates and information you will want to know.

  • GAA has a 4/4 rating on Charity Navigator.

  • GAA's Digital Learning Program (DLP) has been awarded a major grant for the 5th consecutive year as we continue to expand the number of schools and students in the program in Kenya, Morocco, Tanzania and Uganda.

  • The Therapeutic Arts Program has just completed January 2024 another successful training session in Bagamoyo (2 hours north of Dar es Salaam), Tanzania.

  • Due to the popularity of our upcoming Morocco Trip to visit the DLP this coming May 2024, we are already planning another Morocco Trip in 2025. There's limited space available, so if you're interested in traveling with us contact us for information.

ABOUT US

Global Alliance for Africa is a Chicago-based, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that partners with local not-for-profit agencies, faith-based organizations, and community groups in Sub-Saharan Africa to provide educational resources and programs for vulnerable children and youth.

Our Mission

We design and develop unique and innovative programs that address locally identified needs for orphans, vulnerable children and youth, and women, at-risk households and communities in urban slums and remote rural areas.

Our libraries, for example, provide a safe space in slums for female youth at risk to develop their capabilities by accessing educational resources that would otherwise not be available.
