The Initiative

The Global Gumbo Group unites with the Middle East's biggest music artists to launch charity song 'Tomorrow/Bokra'.

Global Gumbo Group Chairman Quincy Jones and President Badr Jafar partner with the industry's leading Arab stars to record the single for children in the region, in association with Mawazine Festival.

The People

Under the direction of Jones and Jafar, the project's Executive Producers, this multi-national team will create a music video for the song and also begin a behind-the-scenes documentary that will trace the entire 'Tomorrow/Bokra' project.

"All proceeds generated will be placed in a dedicated Tomorrow/Bokra account, and will be distributed to various organisations, institutions and charities with arts and culture programs and that will be recommended by the Tomorrow/Bokra Selection Committee."

The 'Tomorrow/Bokra' recording will involve some of the biggest names in Arabic music, including: Kadim Al Sahir (Iraq), Saber El Rebai (Tunisia), Tamer Hosny & Sherine Abdelwahab (Egypt) and many others.
