Maurizio Ravalico is a percussionist, composer, producer and explorer of the sound of all things. Based in London since 1991, he is also frequently collaborating with productions in France, Germany and Italy. His lifelong penchant for cross-pollinating ideas, musical styles and art forms has led him to navigate successfully in realms as divergent as funk, pop, salsa, theatre, contemporary dance, experimental composition, poetry, free-form improvisation, jazz and electronic music.

Maurizio has played with Paul McCartney, Jamiroquai, the James Taylor Quartet, Paul Young, Snowboy, Alex Wilson, Steve Beresford, Pat Thomas, Eska Mtungwazi, Dele Sosimi and many others.
These days Maurizio is playing percussion with Tamar Osborn's Collocutor, Phil Dawson's +tet, the extended string quartet Phaedra Ensemble, and he runs his solo percussion act.
