Listening Problems?

If you've been having problems listening to
Boomer Radio since December 16, 2011

On Friday, December 16, 2011, Boomer Radio switched streaming providers. If you are
no longer able to access our programming, the primary reason is that your web browser
has "cached" the links to our old provider's web address. Therefore, the web browser
cannot find our new provider's web address. To solve this problem, you will need to log
onto the Boomer Radio website, and then refresh your web browser. To do this, hold
down the "F5" key on your computer's keyboard. In some cases, you may need to hold
down the "Ctrl" key and then the "F5" key at the same time. What should happen is
that the Boomer Radio web page should reload. If the media player loads after clicking
on our of our listen links, but you receive a message that says "net stream clip not
found", simply repeat the instructions above that you used on the main Boomer Radio
web page.

Here is another set of instructions for you to try:

Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 Users

Step One: Close your web browser.

Step Two: Click the Start Pearl and select "All Programs," then "Accessories," and
finally "Command Prompt." Right click on "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as
Administrator".

Step Three: When the screen appears, type the following command and hit enter:

ipconfig /flushdns

Step Four: Restart your web browser.

Microsoft Windows XP Users

Step One: Close your web browser.

Step Two: Go to the "Start Menu." Select "Run", then type "cmd" and click "OK."

Step Three: When the screen appears, type the following command and hit enter:

ipconfig /flushdns

Step Four: Restart your web browser.

Apple OSX Users

Step One: Go to the "Applications" folder. Select "Utilities" and double-click on
"Terminal."

Step Two: When the screen appears:

OSX Leopard/Snow Loepard/Lion users, type: dscacheutil -flushcache

OSX Tiger users, type: lookupd -flushcache

Note: Do not be concerned if you see a message like "Not Found."

Step Three: Restart your web browser.

"StreamS" and "Tuner2" iPhone app users

Because of the change mentioned above, if you have been using the "StreamS" iPhone
app and can no longer hear our programming, there is a simple fix. If you have saved
the Boomer Radio streams to your "favorites" in the app, you will need to delete all of
them. Then, shut down the app, find the Boomer Radio stations in "StreamS" and add
them again to your favorites. This should restore our programming to your iPhone.

Users of the Tuner2 iPhone app will be pleased to know that the listings for Boomer
Radio have been updated and you should be able to easily access our programming.
