AMW Reports: Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Weekend, all my weekends on October and November are almost gone!  I'm not complaining though, it's a good, happy kind of busy! :)

This week went by pretty quickly because of various events that has been happening.  There's one event that I attended that I would LOVE to tell you about it.

Before I start with the event proper, let me tell you that I'm a bad "reporter" *laughs*
I left home around 4:30pm and because of traffic and it was crazy on how buses drive at Roxas Blvd. and Buendia, I got in the event with a huge smile but I was told the event was over!

Embarrassing for me to admit but I wasn't "fashionably" late, I was just plain...LATE! *blushes*

I do know traffic could kill me but I still pushed to go to this event because I strongly support the cause.  Here are my past posts to show you guys how much I support this cause ---
AMW Bulletin: Be Informed  asking help from YOU girls to share message of hope!

I did my part and posted my message of hope....

I hope you do too!
Let me repeat myself as I'm "cute" that way... (that made you blink right?)   Whatever works! For the love of this campaign.

How to do your part?
  • Like Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign on Facebook.
  • In order to share your message of hope, click on the "Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign" tab and then "Click To Share Your Message of Hope Today".
  • Enter your message of hope to illuminate Philippines in our global illumination map.
Though I missed the event proper, I did have a quick chat with Ms. Ina Casas, Marketing Executive, and she filled me in on what happened.  Ms. Patty Betita gave an inspirational speech on her own story of Breast Cancer  and how she survived it!

Ms. Patty Betita and Mrs. M

I want to thank the girls (Shen, Rowena and Michelle) for staying with me even though they are supposed to leave!  We also had a nice chat with Theya So, Brand Manager for Fragrance Division. (2nd from left)

To show our support for the campaign, we marched Bonifacio High Street with our "pink ribbons" as we had our dinner at 2nd's.

(3 photos above taken from Mrs. M, thanks AA for the photos!)

Last but not the least, I want to share this card I got from the event to YOU, AMW Readers and women out there to do BSE (Breast Self Examination) Once a Month 7 to 10 days after the start of your monthly period!
