Something that I've noticed crops up a lot with alien abductees and possible human/alien hybrids is the Rhesus Negative issue. Essentially, irrespective of whether your individual blood group is A, B, AB or O, the plasma membranes of most people’s red blood cells carry the series of antigens that categorise them as being Rhesus Positive. Those people without this factor are categorised as being Rhesus Negative. Several abduction researchers have commented on the apparently higher proportion of Rhesus Negative people among abductees than in the population as a whole. However, it's not clear whether this is just anecdotal, or whether there's any scientific evidence to back it up. It's also not clear to what extent those who categorise themselves as hybrids, starseeds, indigoes, etc, agree with what the researchers are saying. But in a field where sceptics are often critical, it strikes me that this is an example of something that could be easily tested and might lead to the community being taken more seriously and getting more support.
I would be interested in hearing people's views on this.

Good info Mothership,i have a keen interest in the abduction phenomena, but this is the first time i have heard this.To me it makes sense to target certain blood types if you are doing genetic work.I will look into this further and see what i can come up with.your idea is an outstanding one which is easily doable.

Very interested myself. I always wondered why my blood type O-, could be used by everyone, yet I can only recieve those who carry my same type. I believe there is another thread (human body) that has some interesting information in it.

My blood type being Rhesus Negative A, I have been applying a blood type diet to aid in proper digestion of foods and this focus has helped tremendously...

I have heard about abductions being mostly of Rhesus Negative type, although I have not found any scientific studies on this and I think that's because the scientific community does not take abductions seriously, which they should...It would go a long way to answering a lot of unanswered questions...

I am A neg, DU neg (because of a mix up when my son was born, they typed my blood 16 times...my mother told them I was A pos) The du neg is another protein I lack on the blood cell.

(I too, Nivek, love red meat....) You're going to have to share that diet with me, I have read something about that on Dr. Mercola's site, I think~~~
While I haven't discussed details of my experiences, I will go as far as stating, yes, I am an abductee.

more data should be gathered from claimed abductees. from blood type over religious beliefs to the favorite music band and sports club, drug abuse etc., lot´s of data should be collected. maybe we should start something like that here on AU? see what turns out.

This may help in understanding THE Significance of being typed Rh-... ~rore

Excerpt from wiki...
The commonly-used terms Rh [Rhesus] factor, Rh positive and Rh negative refer to the D antigen only.

It is common for D-negative individuals not to have any anti-D IgG or IgM antibodies, because anti-D antibodies are not usually produced by sensitization against environmental substances.

Rh negative blood types are much less in proportion of Asian populations (0.3%) than they are in White (15%).[15]
In the table below, the presence or absence of the Rh antigens is signified by the + or - sign, so that for example the A- [negative] group does not have any of the Rh antigens.

Besides its role in blood transfusion, the Rh blood group system, in particular the D antigen, is a relevant cause of the hemolytic disease of the newborn or erythroblastosis fetalis for which prevention is key.

This is important, since most blood banks have a limited supply of "D negative" blood and the correct transfusion is clinically relevant.
In this respect, genotyping of blood groups has much simplified this detection of the various variants in the Rh blood group system.

I found this chart to be fairly accurate in its percentages...

very strange indeed! the Rh+ is dominant to the Rh-
what's his father's blood type?
